We have had a good response to the “Shining Star of Rossington” awards.  All the nomination forms have been collected and the judging panel have decided on the winners for the awards.  The award ceremony is going to be held on Saturday 24th February at the Rossington Miners Welfare.  It starts at 6pm with a buffet with the awards to start at 7pm.  If anyone would like a ticket then please contact Laura at Rossington Development Trust on 01302 866577.  The tickets are free but there is limited seating and admission is by ticket only.

We also have a new community worker, Rebecca Mullholland, who will be working with me.  We are currently arranging meetings and producing an action plan of projects, events and clubs we are trying to set up around the village.  The action plan will be available on the website when completed.

If you have anything we can help you with for example funding for a project, ideas for the village etc please contact either myself or Rebecca on 01302 866577.
